"The Ecstatic Motion of Dance Flow"
Exploring states of bodily ecstasy for the development of dance, theater and performances. Using Butoh dance techniques, dance meditation, fluid movements and improvisation games to build live performances. Mixing contemporary aesthetics with ancient tools and wisdom.
For dancers and performers as well as people interested in exploring these states of presence and performance.
All participants are invited to take part in a final presentation to try study techniques with improvisation games and live music.

We are honored to welcome you to 4 days intensive workshop; a deep dive into the ocean of life giving dance, a journey of transformative Butoh dance with live music guided by the world known Butoh master Atsushi Takenouchi and his companion and sound artist Hiroko Komiya. It is our greatest happiness to be able to host and share Takenouchi and Komiya´s workshop in Vienna this autumn, as their pathway of expression can share to us closeness to life through the meeting of movement, art and nature.
This is a rare chance to get to know your own Butoh dance within the form of Jinen Butoh, with movement and sound coexisting side by side each other
